The Cheyenne County Attorney is an elected position with a four year term. 

The County Attorney’s Office is responsible for:

  • Criminal prosecution of felony and misdemeanor cases including traffic offenses
  • Juvenile delinquency prosecution
  • Juvenile diversion and truancy
  • Child protection prosecution
  • Coroner duties
  • Inheritance tax review
  • Provide legal support to the county officials
  • Civil litigation on behalf of Cheyenne County
