The Cheyenne County Attorney is an elected position with a four year term.
The County Attorney’s Office is responsible for:
- Criminal prosecution of felony and misdemeanor cases including traffic offenses
- Juvenile delinquency prosecution
- Juvenile diversion and truancy
- Child protection prosecution
- Coroner duties
- Inheritance tax review
- Provide legal support to the county officials
- Civil litigation on behalf of Cheyenne County
